For Kristy...
Kristy Leigh Lasch was diagnosed with
breast cancer when she was only twenty-two years old. Throughout
her ordeal, she remained positive, energetic, and strong, even when
faced with limited resources.
Before she died, Kristy envisioned creating an
organization to help younger breast cancer patients. She knew too well
how financially cumbersome the disease could become, and the unique
challenges of having the disease at such a young age. The Kristy Lasch
Miracle Foundation was created in her memory, and honors her dream.
After a valiant struggle, she passed away
October 3, 2004, at the tender, young age of twenty-six.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create a world in which our current services
are no longer necessary.
Our Mission
The Kristy Lasch Miracle Foundation is committed to providing
financial assistance to women under 30 living with breast cancer.
We could sure use some help...
Since founding the Kristy Lasch Miracle Foundation in 2005, we
have been able to help a number of young women living with breast cancer
with their medical related finances. We’ve also been able to grant them
the exact amount that they asked for. With the Foundation’s name getting
out there more, we have been contacted by more and more young women.
We aren’t a huge organization, yet. We only do one big fundraiser a
year. That’s worked for us as a Foundation in previous years but the
ratio of requests to donations has become daunting.
So many young women under 30 are being inflicted by this horrible
disease and calling us. I’m so afraid that we won’t be able to meet
their financial needs and hope that by visiting Kristy's site today, you
can help by making a donation.
A $20 donation covers the co-payment of one doctor's visit - a $100
contribution covers five. That's assuming these young women even
have health insurance - if not, the dollar amounts become extraordinary
and barely surmountable.
We are here to help. Can you help us? Please... no matter
what the amount, help us today by making a PayPal donation.
